“Liquidity and Liquidation”

“I’m moving to LA.”

“What?” I remember the crack in her voice that she didn’t think I noticed, and then, “how fucking old are you?” as if I hadn’t been in the gym almost every day for the past eight months.

“Old enough to know that this shit ain’t going anywhere – and I’m sick and tired of trying with you.”

“You think you have all of the answers, all of the time.”

“I mean, that’s a bit redundant – ”

“Fuck you, Mike.”

“Even that isn’t fun anymore,” and there was that crack, again.

“Who is she?”

“That’s what you think?”

“Its definitely not your career choice – as if that’s going anywhere.” she rolled her eyes, and continued through closed teeth. “I wasted years with you.”

“I spent years fucking you, and you spent years fucking me. Let’s just call it even, huh? This wasn’t meant to be anything but amicable.” Her mind turned. Her skin was growing red when she clawed my chest. My dick grew hard.

“Shut up and take your clothes off.”

“No.”

“Yes.”

“Don’t tell me what to do – you’re not the boss of me.”
