When it’s yours, it can’t be denied. Doesn’t matter if it takes you longer than everyone else thinks it should. Doesn’t matter if the naysayers think you can’t do it in your current environment.

It’s a Midwest Swang, ya’lllll — mixed in with a Nigerian traditional, ceremonial bop, I’m sure. The Milwaukee Bucks are the 2021 NBA Champions — 50 years after arguably the GOAT of the game, along with The Big O, brought one to beer and cheese town.
In the movie, “I Am Legend,” Will Smith plays a scientist that is the only human being left in New York City, after a cure for cancer wipes out most of mankind. And the scientist is immune to the virus, but mutants out to make sure no one else exists, are on the hunt.
Many a fan of the NBA, as well as those who say they aren’t (yet, end up with takes all over Twitter and Facebook), view today’s game as a cancer that is hell-bent on wiping out basketball life as we know it — and has been on this path for a while now.
To build a superteam or not? This is the question. In an era — and historically, a game that has seen champagne poured and trophies…
