How COVID-19 May Be a Curious Mentor in the Quest to Cure Capitalism
Let’s face it — you hate capitalism. Everything you’ve ever been told about it; if you come from certain communities or economic wastelands, breeds you to place a level of mistrust in the idea. “he’s illuminati! he’s a sellout!” debates rage; particularly in the case of what it means to openly pursue cash while mastering your craft (*ahem* artists). However, every entrepreneur has pondered one simple question that has marked our destiny: “would you rather wake up every morning to make yourself rich; or to give that gift to someone else?”
There’s great news! Okay, maybe not at the time we would expect it; but definitely at the time most need.
The closest album that Drake has to a classic effort, in my opinion, is entitled Nothing Was The Same. Folks, we are officially our own album cover, focused on nothing in particular, looking straight ahead, blue skies in the background — except we now don face-masks. Oh, and you’re probably standing just outside of your front door, keeping your social distancing in place — right?
Chances are, you are under a Stay-at-Home order; and for the lot of society, the mere thought of being told they can’t do what they want to do, sucks. Ironically, we put ourselves in that very position, and quite often.
