“America’s Sport is Down Bad”

You see that hat up there? That’s me wearing it, with my favorite boy in the world; a “midget standing on a giant’s shoulders can see much further than the giant…”

Except, even now, as he’s officially in the double digits; he needs guidance to understand his sight.

I grew up with my first memories of the game of football, going to watch my father coach kids on the base we were on. I don’t remember watching too many games with him; however, I do remember, still, crying the night that Lawrence Taylor crashed around the end and collided with Joe Theismann. I’ve long been a fan of America’s Sport.

The team with the former, insensitive mascot name, that I’ve seen all of the championships in their history, is small potatoes in the same potato salad. What has happened in the last 24 to 36 hours, is much more glaring and brings us to the point.
