I don’t want us to meet at a peak; I like the fact that we have had to climb together–America. And, with such optimism, I must admit that I am indeed so cheerful in fantasy, because we are missing, and continue to miss truth; for the sake of so-called feelings.
In watching “American Playboy,” the story of Hugh Hefner–a true goat–this legendary history-maker, took us back to the rise and assassinations of Martin, Malcolm, JFK, and RFK. Men of honor, of impact. And where are we today?
This isn’t a call to what you may be thinking, depending upon your own political leanings; or, how intimately we may be familiar. Here we are, today, facing the last stand of the Final Boss of everything wrong about and with White Supremacy and American Capitalism. For anyone who sees or feels otherwise, you’re either a part of the aging establishment of has-beens, who are holding old rules so hard to the teeth, that you begin freezing randomly during speeches; or, are merely a trained cog in the machine, being replaced by large language models, that most of you have been too dumbed-down to understand the science of anyway.
America, we are at a critical juncture. Put your politics to the side; and, if you can’t do that, or when you do that, and have no learned adult explanation for your bigotry, racism, and xenophobia; perhaps, your politics is the problem.
My hope, as a citizen of the world, is that we don’t have to wait for the old patriarchs of all that is wrong and questionable, at best, in order for the rest of our fellow citizens to decide what’s next in our evolution. If we are to continue to enjoy all that we love and hold dear to us, we cannot do so, without also making certain that we act as though there is still a world of people outside that want to do the same.
